I'm think it's probably another instance of a POP3 on the system. When I NMAP localhost I get:

But I don't know how to decipher if that's the right pop3 or not...
I've gone to "services" under server setting and pop-3 is not selected nor started. I installed a new pop3 server from the
www.qmailrocks.com package. IMAP and SMTP are working beautifully and so are my spam and virus filters. It's just that when I try to log into the POP3 I get that stupid error. I don't believe that it's a firewall problem because I disabled it altogether with lokkit and tried it...same thing happened. Don't worry I've since put the wall back up with only the necessary ports open.
I'm running RH9 with the latest up2date kernel...which by the way sucks because every other boot it doesn't find my mouse, but evidently it fixed a security flaw...
And while I'm here, does anyone know how to forward outgoing messages? RoadRunner blocks any e-mail from my server because it has a "residential" IP address. I used to run XMail and all I had to do was add tampabay.rr.com somewhere in the fw-gateway.tab or something. I don't know where to do that in QMail though...
Any and all suggestions/help will be appreciated!
