Deleting Flatpaks in LM 21.1 (Cinnamon)

Do I really need flatpaks on my LM 21.1 (Cinnamon) installation, and if not, then how can I safely remove them?

I have no idea about that, but you can check what is installed as flatpack. I guess there will be something important there. First you need to remove all the installed flatpacks and finally you can remove the flatpack package itself, but I think it is not a good idea.

Okay. Thanks.

Follow-up:
I removed all flatpaks, and I believe, the flatpak package.

Everything appears to still be working. I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.
