Configure translucency in KDE Konsole to always show the Desktop wallpaper instead of the window under it
Hi Folks,
Way back in KDE 3.x there was a setting that would allow you to set the transparency of the kconsole or Terminal to transparent so that it would always show the Desktop wallpaper. If I dragged the window to the top left corner of the monitor it would show the desktop wallpapers top left corner and this was the case even when there was another window behind the konsole window. So if I had a Firefox window in the background and then the console window over it, the konsole would still show the wallpaper instead of the Firefox window.
Attached is a screenshot that kind of shows what I want. But I want this even when the window is over another window, i.e. if the window is over a document I don't want to see the document text in Konsole, I still want to see the Wallpaper only.
For some reason this setting was removed in KDE 4, and I have been unable to get it back since then. Any suggestions on how this can be achieved? My System Details are as follows:
* Debian Unstable
* Konsole Version 22.04.1
* KDE Frameworks Version 5.98.0
I do see that I can set a wallpaper for the Konsole under the Profile configuration but that would be a last resort.
Thanks in advance for the help.
