Hi group. I am in the process of upgrading my desktop with a new motherboard, ram and power supply. I will be running Windows 10 - 64 bit and Linux - 64 bit (still researching which distro to use). This machine will use a Ryzen 3 processor with no internal graphics with 32gb ram and a Samsung 980 1Tb M2 NVME ssd. Any advice on which distro to use would be appreciated.
I doubt if anyone here will want to recommend a distro to you because liking or disliking a distro is such a personal thing. Most people start with Ubuntu or Mint because they are considered the most newbie-friendly. Mint is especially good with proprietary hardware support. Debian is more mainstream. Fedora is more bleeding edge in its attitude to software, which some people love and some loathe.
I suggest you go to distrowatch and browse around. Download a few distros onto memory sticks and try them out.
