How to create a redhat based distribution (rpm and yum)

How do I create a redhat based distribution with both rpm and yum. Are there any tutorials or articles on it? Or can any of you detail how to create one.

Why do you want to create a distribution? How will it differ from the official redhat release? How will you maintain it? What hardware will be supported?

The reason I want to create a distro is because I want to remove almost all the software that isnt important to it. It'll differ in a very significant way because the red hat would be green. Ideally its not gonna be maintained at all. And the only hardware that will be supported is hardware from old ibm thinkpads (2003 and older).

In that case I'd recommend talking to https://rockylinux.org/ or https://almalinux.org/ as they create free rebuilds from RHEL (inc src), so will definitely know how.
