Since LQ is the "official" forum to Slackware, I think that sticky threads should be those which deliver more essential information. I would go with these themes: Security, Update requests (for current), Changelog (for comments on updates, regressions, etc), Documentation (requests and suggestions to Slackdocs), Slackbuilds (requests ans comments), and one which is very important not as a discussion thread, but a information one: Support Slackware. "So you want to be a Slacker! What do I do next?" is a very nice thread, but I do not think if should be stickied.
