Thanks yvesjv, you can grab the previous xorg-server (and any previous packages) at the link below then just use upgradepkg.

Thanks Dr.S,
Installed 1.20.11 and opened all browsers in the external nvidia/hdmi monitor.
No crash to report yet.

Update:
On the external/hdmi monitor, ran this from Konqueror for well over an hour at full screen + max resolution
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhOSM6uCWxk

Did not crash at all.
Downgrading to 1.20.11 solved this hurdle.

Experiencing the same issue with an Arch guest in Qemu. Downgrading to xorg-server-1.20.11 in the guest seems to solve the issue (so far). Slackware host unaffected using the latest xorg-server

Thanks dr.s!

This patch works for me, but in mplayer, the mouse cursor gets corrupted to the default "X"-shaped cursor. This doesn't happen in firefox though.

Marking this thread as solved. It does look like multiple issues needing multiple patches (1195)

Other window managers does not have this problem. This seems like an XFCE bug. But I didn't try KDE either.
