I was able to extract one CD. Now Rhythmbox (3.4.4) crashes when I hit the [Extract] button with a mounted music CD. I ran under gdb. Here is the stack dump:
Code:
Thread 1 "rhythmbox" received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Please open this up a little. Did you have to install new software? How do you rip a CD with rhythmbox?
What files are in your music library as a result of this?
You might also try to reset Rhythmbox' preferences.
BTW, there's no Ubuntu 21.0 - are you using 21.04?
I appologize for the typo in the title. This is on Ubuntu 21.04, all requested updates applied.
A little more detail.
1) fired up Rhythmbox, extracted one music CD to ~/Music.
2) one week passes
3) installed ubuntu-restricted-extras (to update gstreamer to write MP3s to a portable player)
4) one week passes
5) fired up Rhythmbox, mounted music CD, able to play songs from it, but when I hit "Extract" it crashes (in strcmp-avx2/gobject).
The dump in (5) above is telling me there is a missing parameter or something.
