FYI intel driver crashed with Blender 2.83.0, fixed

Hiya Guys,

A couple of days ago I've built Blender 2.83 on Slackware current. But Blender crashes with xf86-video-intel-20191209_f66d3954. I've built a SlackBuild with the a newer commit

works quite well

Have you had time to try the latest actual release (2.83.1)?

I had to change the subject, because the issue wasn't Blender it was the intel driver.

Thanks, I will have a try with Blender 2.83.1

I'm having the same issue on an HP ProBook 440 G5 running Arch, did you ever get the issue resolved?

Thanks very much, as this solved my problem! See Setup graphics stack on an presumably hybrid laptop with intel and nvidia GPUs . Mind you that the Slackbuild provided is missing a few characters in the end ("KGTYPE:-tgz}")!

Unfortunately my laptop doesn't have hybrid graphics, it's Intel only.

Currently I have three options.

1.) Use a much older Blender revision.
2.) Use Windows which I loathe.
3.) Use my old laptop which has an Nvidia GPU.

Currently I'm just using Windows which is the best of those three options for me.
