GTK/TKless crash handler suggestion?

Hello, everyone.

I want a crash handler app to produce a window if a crash occurs with some basic information on what when and where crashed.

So far I am aware of Apport (super Ubuntu-integrated), ABRT (super RedHat integrated, and systemd-dependent), and drkonqi (super KDE-integrated and not documented).

Is there any better option than writing my own one with gamin and dialog?

How about enabling core dumps ? I have not tried this but maybe it will meet your need.

I enabled core dumps. But I don't want to manually check /var/crash every five minutes.

Thank you for the link, I'll see if it does what I need.

UPD: No, I need some actual helper software, not just blindly putting reports in one place.
