python 2x & -current safe to remove it?


will removing python 2.x in -current and leaving only python 3.x

break anything at this point, now that 2.x is EOL?

There are 66 other packages that use python-2.7.x in some way. It may be EOL, but it will probably fade away slowly.

Ok, good to know. I suspected it'd be a slow fade.

I wasn't expecting an answer from The Man Himself, so let me say..

Thanks for all the work you do making the best linux distro of them all- ever.

A purity of vision across the decades that is sadly, seldom matched in Linux circles
anymore these days.
