dnf clean all doesn't clean all

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US...ystem-upgrade/ doesn't seem to say anything about cleaning up the cache created by dnf system-upgrade. On F31 I have a lot of old stuff in /var/lib/dnf/, which also still contains all the packages from the upgrade from F30 to F31RC 3 weeks ago:
Code:
# pwd
/var/lib/dnf/
# ls -l
total 8928
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 1024 Nov 15 2018 history
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4837376 Nov 11 12:17 history.sqlite
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32768 Nov 11 12:17 history.sqlite-shm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4152992 Nov 11 12:17 history.sqlite-wal
drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 3072 Oct 21 00:16 system-upgrade
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 78922 Oct 21 00:16 system-upgrade.json
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31670 Apr 8 2015 transaction-all.2015-04-08.22:20.43
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 8 2015 transaction-done.2015-04-08.22:20.43
drwxr-xr-x 34 root root 1024 Feb 12 2018 yumdb
# du -s -d1 -h .
13M ./history
955M ./system-upgrade
5.0M ./yumdb
981M .
# pwd
/var/lib/dnf/system-upgrade/
# du -s -d2 -h .
704K ./rpmfusion-nonfree-c253272f7b309f17/packages
387M ./updates-testing-9640951d8a5b54c9/packages
17K ./rpmfusion-free-058b175644bc1430/packages
373M ./fedora-3589ee8a7ee1691d/packages
Yum isn't even installed. There's no telling which man page might address this, since there isn't one for system-upgrade. What's the right way to clean this up and recover almost 1G of disk space?

You can try this out: Update Fedora Linux using the terminal dnf command.

You can try this out:
Update Fedora Linux using the terminal dnf command

Type the following dnf command and sudo command:
sudo dnf update

Hi MrMazda,

I'm not sure about the recent-ness of this page, but here is a link that spoke of Fedora 21 (I know it is old - but, I'm looking at the stuff written below):

https://forums.fedoraforum.org/showt...-dnf-clean-all

It suggests using: (You'll probably have to research to see if this is still valid)

dnf clean all --enablerepo=\*

And there is a suggestion to simply remove:

/var/cache/dnf

- as it says that this is regenerated by dnf.

Let me know, if you find that these suggestions work...
