Samba

Hello everyone, i know this must have been ask already but searching the forum is a pain.

when i try to start samba i get this
Code:
Failed to create /var/log/samba/cores for user 1000 with mode 0700
Unable to setup corepath for nmbd: No such file or directory
[2019/09/05 10:42:31.753069, 0] ../lib/util/debug.c:952(reopen_logs_internal)
Unable to open new log file '/var/log/samba.': Permission denied
What do i have to do to make it work.

Thanks in advance.
