Xubuntu updater box too large

I am using Xubuntu 18.04-3LTS and when ever I receive updates like today, the dialog box is much too large and won't resize. I have to use Alt left click and drag to move it around in order for me to read everything in the dialog box and press buttons. I have thew DPI set to 160 because of my eyesight. Is there a way resize it? https://postimg.cc/w7Fk6QvD

Bearing your signature in mind, another way to update your machine could be copying and pasting this command in a terminal:

Code:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade -y
You'll have to supply your user password when asked. Before the semi-colon refreshes the repository data, after the semicolon actually upgrades your system now that it knows what the latest package versions available are.

I don't know how to solve that problem exactly, but I do know this is definitely a workaround.

Try resizing the window with Ctrl-RightClick-Drag; hopefully it will remember the new size.

We are making progress. I tried Ctrl and dragged to resize it which worked and the resize saved on the update box showing all the list of updates. While this fixed the one box it didn't fix the completion box that refuses to resize. https://postimg.cc/n9j7jLkB Where would the configuration file be hiding for this box?

There's no config files for dialog boxes - maybe for the whole toolkit. GTK3, if I'd had to guess.

This must have something to do with it.

I solved the problem by replacing Xubuntu 18.04LTS with MX Linux 19.
