debian server changeing ip in static mode

I have a fileserver configured on a debian 9.9. This is not always the case, but sometimes the server changes IP, and the configuration in /etc/network/interfaces is static. I already disabled services that could potentially change the IP.

- The server is an xenserver VM;
- The "vlan" that the server is part of does not have DHCP enabled;
- In xenserver already changed the MAC a few times, because it could, I don't know, have a static DHCP configured;

The IP configured as static is: 10.10.10.7 (example ip)
The last IP that the server got automatically was: 10.10.10.88 (example ip)


Any idea?

Does it change its address when you restart it or while it's running?

In any case, what do you find in the log files? You could do a brute force search, e.g. journalctl | grep 10.10.10.88 or grep -r 10.10.10.88 /var/log. Also log files on the Xen server.

Are there any other machines on that VLAN? Do they get assigned random IPs when set as static? What’s handling vlan tagging?
