You may read that thread and still think that I've wasted your time. If so, mention it here and I'll eventually come back and apologize.

I have read through it a few times.

I tried doing a cross compiler at first, and attempted to try from scratch, but became overly annoyed with it.

Found it was much quicker to use Debian to bootstrap the process instead.
A bit hacky, but went much quicker.

No need to feel sorry for trying to help.

I've been reading through a lot of threads discussing trying to port Slackware to different architectures.
Its helped to find scripts from Alien Bob and Patrick to piece together a passable manual process to setup a mirror.

Each bit of info can be helpful.

I just updated a bunch of packages to bring it closer to being in sync with Slackware64.
Its still behind a little bit, as I was working from a sync I did last month, working on syncing a copy of latest -current to find out whats new since then.

After getting QT 5.15 built and installed Krita finally works.
Its no longer hanging at the splash screen.

I also managed to get patches working to build QT4.

I've been toying with building a PowerPC 32-bit little endian cross compiler, it works (at least says it does).
The Linux kernel doesn't give the option to build a PowerPC 32-bit LE kernel, that I've seen.
There are some patches from a while back to add support for it though.
So might see if I can bring that abomination unto the world for fun.
