Slackware on Hacker Public Radio

Beni from Switzerland and Andrew Conway discuss their experiences with Slackware 14.2 about a year after release. It's an informal rather unstructured discussion.

I think many Slackers will find it entertaining.

Hey, don't call our discussion unstructured. It was meticulously planned...

Beni

EDIT: I forgot to say what I really wanted to answer: Thanks for the plug!

Nice to meet you, Beni!

Afterthought:

LQ is one heck of a community! One never knows who will turn up.

Muted the motor racing I was watching to listen to this thinking I'd probably be stopping it after a few minutes.

Now half an hour in.. am enjoying the casual style and openness, actually lol'd when they briefly talk about init and heard (paraphrasing) "...well I don't really know, I just thought I better mention it". Good stuff guys.

I'm more or less only here because it is the official Slackware forum. I try to frequent this place regularly but honestly I only spotted this thread because I had a problem with awesomewm I needed the forum to solve (which it did in no time).

Honestly, the helpfulness of this forum and the friendly tone in which my (sometimes pretty stupid) questions are answered is part of why I stuck with Slackware for some time now even though I used to be quite a distro hopper.
