Configuration of X11 / Xwrapper ?

Hello,

I would like to start Xserver over ssh, e.g. startx -- :2. I did as usually. I added the following to the Xwrapper configuration file (/etc/X11/Xwrapper.config).

Code:
allowed_users=anybody
It is visibly no longer working. What should be added for the Testing Debian to work?

Thank you and best regards,
Patrick

Do you have xauth installed? (also available in the xbase-clients meta package)

PS: Mind posting the exact error message? Their exist many reasons why this wouldn't work ...

xauth is installed. Visibly it is a permission issue. There aren't much log to read, just the above one.
I did a chmod 0660 /dev/tty to also an user over ssh, in any cases, but it did not help.

Does the Xorg :1 works on your Debian machine (connected over SSH)? (you need xorg-xserver-legacy installed)
