I came across Greg, which looked incredibly tempting, and which, like newsboat/podboat, was optimized for the download-the-audio-files-from-the-terminal-first workflow that a lot of the people who responded liked.

But then I thought, hey, why should I download the episodes first? All my players can play network streams, and I have an Internet connection that's reliable enough to do that.

My decision? I ended up buying PocketCasts.

Nowadays maximum people are using (some program) for listen podcasting. I believe it's provided the best features right now for podcasting. Whenever you are going to use this then you will get the best experience of music and podcasting. But some people face some problem when they are trying to install the (some program) on Windows device. So for them I want to suggest go through (some link removed) and you will get the proper solution.

^ Even without the removed parts it looks like 100% straight spam pasta to me; I don't see any difficulty there. Maybe it's good that I'm not a moderator...

I wrote a podcast aggregator.

https://github.com/duganchen/podfeeds

This design seemed like a good idea at the time. I haven't really used it yet, because, well, I just got it working.

One thing I can say now: it's every bit as performant as it should be. A feed that takes over 500 Lynx pages will load either practically or literally instantly, depending whether it's been updated since the last time you loaded it.
