how to set mcedit skin?

Hi,

I set midnight commander skin from the menu, however, when i launch mcedit, it uses a different (defalt?) color scheme.
Is there a way to configure mcedit so that it uses the same skin (or color scheme) as mc?

Thanks!

you might find it useful: https://www.systutorials.com/docs/linux/man/1-mcedit/
It looks like it has its own config. (also check variable MC_COLOR_TABLE)

I have read the man page, but it is not clear (at least to me) where the variable should go.
While the changes I make in ~/.config/mc/ini file work for mc, they change nothing in mcedit (I mean the pull down menus, text, and background).
Where should I put the MC_COLOR_TABLE variable? Do I have to create a mcedit config file? Also, in order to have the same color scheme in mcedit as in mc, can I refer to the skin name as in the ini file of do I have to indicate the specific colors?

Yep, putting the entry into .bashrc did the trick. I would have never imagined it. It wasn't mentioned, or I didn't see it, in the man page. Thanks a bunch!
