Lightbulb NAS Webpages


Hello guys, NAS like Netgear, Qnap, Synology or other vendors.
They have an interactive web pages and it is like browsing a file explorer.

Most NAS, if not all is powered by Linux.Any ideas guys what programming language is used to create those GUI web pages?

Thanks for any input.

It's not that hard a task to write a CGI or FastCGI based file manager. They can be written in anything, such as perl, PHP, or python, or even C. It would depend a bit on how stripped down their systems are.

And javascript obviously. You can learn more about creating such web interfaces by looking at LuCI source code which is used in OpenWRT: https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/...rface.overview
