Phoronix, other tech press and other similarly unreliable sources are reporting on this and people are jumping to conclusions, so I've quoted the original source only.

Seems like they are getting closer to being "all in" for systemd and only systemd. At least that's how the tea leaves look from here.

That is how I read it too, Debian want to ditch everything else, & just concentrate on systemd.

Devuan will be the winners again, because those that don't want systemd will only have that choice.
