pdfcrop fails on 14.2

Returns this

!!! Error: Cannot move `tmp-pdfcrop-3178.pdf' to `CropText.pdf'!
Works as expected on current

==> 74 pages written on `CropText.pdf'
As far as I can ascertain pdfcrop is part of the tetex.

There seems to be a discussion about the problem here -

I wonder what horrendous problems I will get if I backport tetex from current to 14.2. I'm thinking that I should I leave this to the experts to resolve. I'm happy that it works on Current.
