dixan2022,

Welcome to LQ forums.

Install v4l-utils (which also installs an equivalent command line tool, v4l2-ctl):

Code:
sudo pacman -S v4l-utils
https://archlinux.org/packages/?name=v4l-utils

See:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/webcam_setup

Then run this command:

Code:
v4l2-ctl --list-devices
Then check your webcam against this list:
http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/

There is no camera in lsusb and there is no /dev/video*. This means it must be disabled in hardware. Thinkpad P14s is Ubuntu certified, I'm not sure how P14 differs from P14s.

dixan2022,

Emerson is right.

The solution may be quite simple.

Press the F8 key.
