Both are bad to the bone.Antix control center gives you full control of config Icewm. I made mine super lean...on a 240ssd because most de's are full of garbage.Notice the comment outs ;-)

It has nothing to do with downloads.

Thanks for your clarification. I haven't observed any superiority of MX Linux with my experience with Linux Mint and Deepin yet in a short time so far.
