Help needed to identify the font in the screenshot


I have been searching all around but I cannot find the actual font used in the images I have uploaded below.

Not the font of the title bar.

Please identify the font and let me know. (Please note the style used for "1")

hard to say.
it looks like one of the generic free default fonts used on debian-based distros.

i have here a freshly installed debian box that looks similar, and it defaults to DejaVu Sans Book.

I would say one of GNU FreeFont...

Close very close but it seems the digit "1" has a different style.

Let me try these fonts, this could be it.

I think this thread is resolved it is GNU Free Fonts (Sans) after all
