Slack client app alternative

I have requirement to access to a workspace in Slack. But I do not like their client app, nor their web UI. So I searching on the internet looking for alternative. So far I only find https://www.artificialworlds.net/blo...ent-on-ubuntu/ And this requires to install additional tool in accessing to Slack server. Is there any recommended alternative that does not require additional installation?

Thanks
