How to get this streaming website working in linux browser?

https://www.virginmediatv.ie/ (you will not be able to attempt streaming without an account) works fine on Windows 10 with Chrome (80.0.3987.149 (Official build) (64 bit)) but I have not been able to get it working on Ubuntu 18.04 (exact same version of Chrome). Same issue with Firefox, Chromium, and Vivaldi. I am unsure if they are using Flash or some other software, as I do not see the usual option menu you when I right click video playing.

I have also tried user agent switcher addons in Firefox, Chrome and Vivaldi. When using the addons I set Windows Chrome and Windows Firefox in each, Windows Chromium, and also Edge.

To help identify what they are using, on Windows, I right clicked a playing stream and viewed source:

I have been using a VM but it can be slow and is a very bloated workaround, is there anything I can try to get this working on a linux browser?

Not really helpful but very few big sites use flash anymore. Flash should have died 10 years ago and browsers are moving towards not using plugins of any sort because of the security risks they present.

Could be a backend component that needs to be installed although off the top of my head I don't know which. Perhaps someone who streams from their PC can chime in, I don't.

Wonder if the security level?
"Virgin Media Community (and other Virgin Media websites) will be enforcing TLS 1.2 browser security protocol"
