OSQuery Daemon Not Outputting Logs

I'm try to get osqueryd to output logs. It starts up fine. I see it in the process table, the interactive UI works just fine, but in the /var/log/osquery directory there's nothing.

I have to demo this (working) in a job interview so any help would be appreciated!
