Make Akregator "Delete" Notification Go Away

When I delete an item in Akregator, a musical notification chimes.

I want it to stop. It's irritating and intrusive. So far, I cannot find a setting in either Akregator's own configuration dialog or in KDE's System Settings-->Notification to turn this off.

This happens both in KDE 4 on Slackware and KDE 5 on Mageia.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Hi Frank.

I agree that the chimes are irritating. On my Debian system (Akregator 5.2.3) clicking the "do not ask again" box in the confirmation pop-up stops the chimes but also eliminates pop-up, if you can live with that.

Strange thing is I could not find a way to turn the notification back on in the GUI so I checked the config file (~/.config/akregatorrc) and the following two lines were added:
Code:
[Notification Messages]
Disable delete article confirmation=false
Talk about counterintuitive. Anyway deleting the lines and restarting akregator restored the default behavior.

HTH

My, how esoteric. Thanks!

Given that KDE prides itself on its configurabillty (and the granular configurability is one of the things I've always like about it), it takes one somewhat aback that they overlooked this item.
