Console login needed during Solaris startup in VB

I thought I had covered all the boxes during VB setup of Solaris 11.4 and finally the install started. After choosing language, location, blahbhlah it seemed to be doing fine. Then it stopped with two fields one on top of another.
The top one said Console login: with a cursor after it
The next one said password:
I had supplied a password earlier in the process but I'm darned if I can remember seeing a "console login" entry at any point. I tried various ideas but nothing worked.
Any ideas or maybe even a solution?

Did you set up a user name?

Normally you just type in a user and then the password?

If you haven't set up user yet, you can log in as root to do so.

I'm still a little confused as to if the installing finished?

If you just want to run the operating systems, many come in pre-built images?

An example from searching: download pre-built Solaris for Virtualbox
https://www.oracle.com/solaris/solar...downloads.html

...normally there the next question would be, what's the username and password?

Thumbs up

Conversely,,, I don't know if Solaris uses systemd but I just did a:
Code:
sudo systemctl set-default multi-user.target
on my jukeboxed Acer Aspire One.

I also can't remember if I've ever use startx* in Solaris?

Anyways, have fun!
