Degraded performance in WarThunder after latest nvidia driver update - openSUSE LEAP 15.4


FPS is ok but graphics is jerky. Is it please possible to fix it ?

Is it any better if you boot the prior kernel?

It's probably shader compilation. I'll bet the driver update invalidated the cache of previously-built shaders. If it's that, then the problem will go away if you keep playing it.

Trying a prior kernel is for easy diagnosis whether some kernel difference is related to a problem, not intended as a permanent switch that might be less secure.

I understand but I'm still not sure whether it is secure to run old kernel even for a short time.
