LXer: Introducing our new Lua cheat sheet

Published at LXer:

Lua is a minimalistic, lightweight language implemented as a C library. It's fast and simple to learn, efficient to run, embeddable, and tiny (its source code download is under 500 KB, and it's just over 1MB compiled). You can use Lua to create an API for your application or as a scripting language, for quick prototyping, or as the foundation of your software project.read more

Uggh... I thought I would grab the cheatsheet, and found it requires an email address. I don't normally do "free of cost" things that require email, but it was opensource.com which I read from often and it at least asked whether I wanted to also receive their newsletter, so I declined the newsletter and gave them my email address. On submit I got no cheatsheet or any link to download it, just a "Thank you for subscribing!" page, and no download link via email.

Thank you opensource.com, I guess I really did not expect better in truth.

UPDATE: Predictably, the next morning I have RedHat newsletter and promo email in my inbox...
