[SOLVED] Very strange behavior of graphics in Mint 13 64

sudo passwd root

I tried this before without success. I tried many other commands also.

A strange thing happen now. I still have the mint debian iso file here. Before, I tried LMDE through in live mode to get full performance. But now I tried in Oracle Virtualbox OSE. In Vbox, I was not asked for a password.
What I conclude is that something has changed in live mode of mint debian using USB.

I confess that I read about something related with this when I searched for password. But I stayed confused. Anyway, I will try again with USB universal and also burning the ISO in a DVD-RW.

Before, I tried only in pendrive because I wanted void possible errors of read that could happen if I tried the installation processes using an DVD-RW.

It would be really weird if using an USB install applications would change the password behavior, since they usually do not alter anything inside the OS image, but it would be really interesting to really test that. Looking forward to the results of your experiments. If the password behavior really changes this is a serious bug in either the USB application or the OS.

It really happened. I printed some images of the fact. Check all images in aceleron-UnivUSBInst_dvd_boot
the two images with UnivUSBInst-1914_1920 show the same pop-ups using USB Universal app in versions 1.9.1.4 and in 1.9.2. Same pop-ups in two versions. I used these two versions.
The image UnivUSBInst-1920_output.jpg shows the output after extract all files in pendrive (version 1.9.2).
The image DVDRW_livemode.jpg shows that this problem (password asking) not happen if mint debian run from an burned DVDRW.
