Cent OS 6.9 USB Serial generic driver

I was using centos 6.9 64 bit in that trying to connect the quectel modem, modem was detected but virtual ports are not created.so i enter the lsusb -t command it shows following lines.

|__ Port 1: Dev 8, If 0, Class=vend., Driver=, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 8, If 1, Class=vend., Driver=, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 8, If 2, Class=vend., Driver=, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 8, If 3, Class=vend., Driver=, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 8, If 4, Class=vend., Driver=, 480M

i think usbserial_generic driver is not assigned? please suggest to me how to solve the problem?

Port 2: Dev 11, If 0, Class=vend., Driver=usbserial_generic, 480M

|__ Port 2: Dev 11, If 2, Class=vend., Driver=usbserial_generic, 480M
|__ Port 2: Dev 11, If 3, Class=vend., Driver=usbserial_generic, 480M

Can you show us the hardware details? (Chipset ID can be relevant here)
Code:
usb-devices
Try to identify the output block pertaining to the modem device and post here. Are you connecting this to a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port?

You could also connect the USB device and then run the following to get a better picture of how the device is detected...
Code:
dmesg|tail
