slackpkg lilo prompt

I probably missed the memo. What was the reasoning for removing the lilo prompt in the slackpkg lookkernel function? That was a handy reminder to run lilo then and there.

You should still get a reminder that requires a keypress to get through; it just doesn't offer to run lilo for you. The rationale was along these lines:
1) slackpkg shouldn't be running lilo (or offering to run it) - slackpkg is for package management
2) too many variables are present on too many systems, specifically that lots of folks don't use lilo. Rather than trying to support other bootloaders, it seemed best to refer back to #1

It's in the ChangeLog.
Doesn't the advice message appear to you?

Code:
Thu May 31 04:55:33 UTC 2018
...
ap/slackpkg-2.83.0-noarch-1.txz: Upgraded.
...
No longer offer to run lilo - simply advise user that the kernel image has
changed and give advice, but also require a keypress to (hopefully) confirm
that the message was actually read

For me too, but the new message is good too and with the old one sometimes
I typed 'n' and still lilo ran, maybe some hidden character.

Yes, I saw the change log. I asked why the change was made.
