Best Remote Desktop Software And Configuration Question

Hello,

I am trying to figure out the best configuration for Remote Desktop Software on Kali Linux. In the past I have used different flavors of VNC many years ago. Lately I have been trying XRDP as it allows for quick installs and it seems pretty popular.

However, I have been noticing some lag when on the desktop. I do not know the most ideal config settings for XRDP but now I am starting to wonder if there is better software out there and so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction for most optimal remote desktop applications or more settings I could tweak on xrdp or even the linux host itself?

Many thanks,
Joe

danmartinj,

I have found that TeamViewer works very well in both Linux and Windows:

Many thanks beachboy,
I will try it out. The biggest thing I am concerned about is what if I try to use this in a professional work environment? From what I have read it would require a payed license which concerns me as I was hoping to leverage a free product.

Many thanks,
Joe
