Cool Thanks for allowing me to join this forum! - OLD-Jim

I am very new to Linux, but have some experience in consumer electronics, broadcast engineering, and as an industrial electrician.

I ran an electronics (sales and service) for 28 years, which included work in the commercial AM/FM radio stations as the station engineer, which required a First Class License.

After that, I cross-trained as an industrial electrician, and worked at that a few years, then was converted into being an "Electrical Planner", which involved surveying needed electrical repairs, scheduling equipment down-time for maintenance, parts ordering, assigning electrician man hours, and assigning Periodic Maintenance (PM), etc. at the same plant in which I had worked as an electrician.

I retired about ten years ago, but am still active in studying and trying to learn new things. This Linux system interests me greatly, and I hope I can contribute somewhat myself.

Thank you all!
OLD-Jim
