Unable to access CoreOS with ssh

I'm trying to set up CorOS 1632.3.0 with no success and I'm just about to jump from the roof....

I can ping the server fine once is up however I can't ssh into it, I'm getting authentication failed.

I'm using a custom ssh key that I create, I paste the public key in the cloud-config.yaml file and when trying to connect I'm using the private key.

Also is the server and my laptop must be in the same subnet for this to work? orif I have ping it's enough?

Any help will be great

This is my cloud-config.yaml:

#Set hostname
hostname: sqa177

#Set User and ssh Key
- name: "core"
- "sudo"
-ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABIwAAAQEApzUU/9PO0yVDP7AhvhZsd294iK1If7okVPedzu2rJADBPNZgx8cmq+xZ2BkQ9LQdXroh1BKG283WBTt4B5v/olR9zZWe4RI/dYeFqntvvt/seDbzxzlRi18vecWRDxeRz0BmpSfdZJe8+R+SkT1sr96fATGxaihXCu0OODdA+7irp2FzRLV2lgYDMAwYEaZy9Zr1MsJQNCP8UJI 3QR2OnuALu7JWWoJ5XEGy44QuOAITirljhxdg5/8C5uJVJKnUWN9evcYU3f41gLDfAoRgMLSSBuavSMOd4TuCH4ZV7Oty0SNXncXqvXtaUts0VQQVh8Tb2D5t2kM2VVLczxhshQ== mannyi@vnc-lab-it.mtl.labs.mlnx

Is the real problem that you cannot access the node using ssh, or that you cannot access the node using only ssh-keys without a password?

Have you verified that there is an SSH listener RUNNING on the CoreOS node?

Please provide a better description of the issue and situation to make things clear.

And, is this the proper place to put the public-key in this environment?
