I inserted a live USB to test if it works. Went into BIOS and changed the priority, Unfortunately i thought the USB was the third option, the second being the dvd drive. Tried to reboot and the PC won't even light up. Help please!
Thank you all! I found a solution while searching the web. Some HP techie was giving advice and mentioned holding down the Windows key + B key and press and hold the power button. It worked.
Next time I will remember colorpurple's simpler approach!
All this came about because I was trying once more to install Linux [Lubuntu] on my Asus Notebook. I'll open a thread.
