Asus pc won't boot up

I inserted a live USB to test if it works. Went into BIOS and changed the priority, Unfortunately i thought the USB was the third option, the second being the dvd drive. Tried to reboot and the PC won't even light up. Help please!

Which ASUS motherboard do you have and it's age?

hold down the power button while counting to 30, release button and attempt to turn back on.

Thank you all! I found a solution while searching the web. Some HP techie was giving advice and mentioned holding down the Windows key + B key and press and hold the power button. It worked.
Next time I will remember colorpurple's simpler approach!
All this came about because I was trying once more to install Linux [Lubuntu] on my Asus Notebook. I'll open a thread.
