There's some difference between wine-3.10 + wine-3.10 staging + DXVK vs wine-3.10 + wine-staging-3.10 + pba + DXVK.

I'm running a MMORPG with it and it works flawless, i am really satisfied with it.

I can benchmark if you wish. Which game do you have in mind?

Wonder if anyone will get mingw64 to work with Slackware64-current anytime soon. Would appreciate it a lot since DXVK could be built from git then..

Out of curiosity, what did you do to get dxvk working? I'm not interested in Lutris, and most of the instructions I'm seeing are "just use Lutris." Or am I stuck with Lutris because of the aforementioned mingw64 issue?

I just compiled wine-staging and downloaded the release from https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
i'm using dxvk 0.54 because that works with NVIDIA 390.xx drivers.

:-)

I haven't used dxvk, but it comes with an installer and it's documented in the README ("How to use"):

Doh. I was overthinking it, since they gave detailed descriptions of what build environment you needed. Yeah, I'm still on the 390 series. I'm not adverse to switching drivers to something else, but I'd like to wait a bit longer on the 396 tree. (Call me paranoid.)
