Can you be more clearer as to what exactly you are asking?

I put squid and openvpn on my server and now I've noticed that several external ip connect on me .. but they don't use the openvpn client file. because I still haven't given anyone the file to connect to. To check I have installed IFTOP

So these are external IP addresses that are attempting to connect and you want to block them? Do you have a firewall in place protecting your network? If. so, that's the easiest way. In a firewall, you should limit who can connect via the VPN by IP and drop everything else.

Stop what you are doing and fix that.

These are IP's that you want to connect to you? You are trying to connect your VPN to somewhere?

Stop giving little bits of info and tell what you are trying to accomplish, what you have set up, how you configured it, where it is not working how you wish.

It is unlikely that these scans are targeting you. Random port scans have been a fact of life on the net since there has been a net.

In addition to configuring your firewall quick like a bunny, it is also wise to close all incoming ports on your router that you do not have a positive need for.

I put this script

#!/bin/bash

/sbin/iptables -N Dropped-From-File
/sbin/iptables -I INPUT -s 0.0.0.0/0 -j Dropped-From-File
while read ipaddr
do

/sbin/iptables -I Dropped-From-File -s $ipaddr -j DROP
done </root/listipblock | sort | uniq

/sbin/iptables -A Dropped-From-File -j RETURN

I put the ip to block on a specific file but I have an error when I start the script

listipblock
43.251.180.0/22
45.248.44.0/22
45.249.88.0/22
45.250.72.0/22
45.251.44.0/22
45.252.184.0/22
45.253.130.0/23
45.254.244.0/22
45.255.128.0/22

Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
' specified.6.0: invalid mask `20
