Getting Thunderbird to open on 2nd monitor

Hi all,

Recently switched from Windows 10 to Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird as my email client. I moved my profile across fine (well, I did have a little bit of trouble) and have set up my Google calendar. One issue remains though. When I go to open Thunderbird, it opens on my main display. How do I get Thunderbird to open on my 2nd monitor? It would open on my 2nd monitor on Windows 10, but Linux is a different beast.

If you open Thunderbird then move it to second monitor. Use it for bit, then close it.
When you re-open, does it not open on second monitor?
I see this behaviour on Fedora (GNOME); I do not have a machine currently to try Mint & Cinnamon.

Yes, this is what happens. Closing Thunderbird on 2nd monitor then re-opening makes Thunderbird appear on main monitor.

I have come up with a "solution". I add a "Desklet" to my 2nd monitor, then launch Thunderbird from there. Thunderbird then opens up in 2nd monitor.
