Can not install Printer (HPlaserjet P1102w ) or minissdpd


The printer was working until I updated Debian 10
now when I try to install printer hplaserjet P1102w I get an error it seem to minissdpd so I tried to install minissdpd But still no good.

OS Debian 10.2 amd 64

According to the HPLIP website, that is a supported printer. Have you checked that HPLIP is installed? If not, it should be in the repos.

FWIW, I note there seems to be a number of Debian bug reports discussingMiniSSDPd failures, and commonly caused by a mis-configured /etc/default/minissdpd file. Unlikely to be related to your HP printer issue though.
