Well, he did say that he was more oposed to including kerberos than including PAM...
If kerberos is now included, it would not be insanity to speculate that PAM might be next.

Seems sane to me. I'm not expecting to see PAM until after KDE Plasma LTS is ready. I'll guess the two additions will occur concurrently.
