removed Openssl library from fedora 27 and now Gnome is not starting

Hi Experts

As I mentioned in the subject, I removed library openssl from my Fedora 27 box and now gnome is not able to start; I can see only the logging windows but once I wrote down the password it ask again for password once again; I`m trying to recover system but no idea in how to. Any clue?

Thank you so much in advance for any support.

Best regards,

press Ctrl-Alt-F1 (or something similar) to go to console and try to reinstall it.

#1 boot using a rescue or live usb image.
#2 mount your fedora environment
#3 chroot into the root of your fedora environment
#4 using the standard fedora tools, install openssl.
#5 exit, shutdown, reboot into fedora
#6 test
#7 stop removing required packages.

Question is> How can I issue the chroot command to run yum -y install openssl and update my damage system ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I ran follow command and a lot of libraries were updated on system

yum --installroot /run/media/liveuser/c11c768d-8db2-4a86-a174-7d058128a4f1/usr/lib --releasever 27 install openssl

but system remain in the same, I mean, issue was not solved then I found this thread

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...-issue-809601/

now, I'm planning to reinstall system.
