Ok cool kstan. I've checked your site, awesome. I'll participate soon. So any other who are developing user group? Anywhere in Malaysia... try to post your user group name and where it is so that we all know if it is near to our place. I think this will be a good way to participate the nearest user group.

Thank you for your participate, every member is for me is very important. I try to conduct physical activities rather than online communication.
And, for your information I am try to persuade to vendor migrate their software to support linux. Both using foxpro base and I did prove to them I can run the system in linux (We some errors).

I hope you can effect others people so Johor user's have more choice.

Hello heloo.. im wann from Port Dickson
I use ubuntu and backtrack. before ni was also installed fedora and Slackware .. but not quite understand .. teacher is not available. google the only teacher there. Posted from my introduction so .. seek guidance from friends

its depend actually need to see on the purpose of forum itself, if there to be used for malay speaking should be ok
because there still many malaysian/others people ( point to person who cant understand english)

other than that should look at pro and kontra

however can give a try

@routers i want install backtrack5.but my acer 4752z stuck in step 3 (choose keyboard layout).
can u help me..when I install in vmplayer, it works better

you better open the topic to the main forum under linux general
but about kboard layout chose us

however backtrack is purposely run on cd

now is almost end of 2013, any general LUG in Malaysia?

even open source group meetup's turned up with less than 10 people, mostly.

I hope I don't get hammered for responding to an old thread, but I think my response is still relevant.

I'm a new expat in KL and was also looking for LUG's in KL and nearby areas but found none. So for a start, I made the group https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ux-user-group/ - please feel free to join.

Also, perhaps we can take this to another app/website?
