I didn't change any boot entry in elilo.conf.
I just copied vmlinuz file and new initrd.gz file to /boot/efi/EFI/Slackware

Did you copy vmlinuz-huge-5.4.13/vmlinuz-generic-5.4.13 or did you copy vmlinuz (which is just a symbolic link to the real kernel, usually to vmlinuz-huge-5.4.13)?

I have tried copying
Code:
cp vmlinuz-huge-5.4.13 /boot/efi/EFI/Slackware/vmlinuz
But no use. Or is it a elilo problem ?

What is the content of your elilo.conf file?
Code:
cat /boot/efi/EFI/Slackware/elilo.conf
What files do you have in the efi directory?
Code:
ls -la /boot/efi/EFI/Slackware/
