Where is .wine located?

Okay so I ran to the local game stop and purchased a copy of Medieval Total War II. I am trying to find the locations of the .wine folder because I am running into a bit of errors when I told it run AFTER installing it. For some reason the command line can not tell the different between spaces and that just leaves for a lot of head aches. I know the .wine folder will contain my game. I want to access it to play it. I know it is a hidden folder and I use the xFce file manager to view the hidden files but to no avail. Please give me some suggestions.

Yours truly,
slacwizard
