That is a dangerous argument to make. It can be applied to much more than a new distro. How many threads in the Off-Topic General sub-forum fade into nothingness and become dead thread slot thingies?

If Devuan dies, it's sub-forum would at least be helpful while the project exists, unlike most of the very short-lived chatter threads in General. I would also argue that Devuan is more deserving of a place on a user's forum than Red Hat, but the latter has a presence. If the people at Devuan are willing to put in the work, I see no harm being done.

I'm looking forward to this. Today I've replied a Devuan question on Debian's forum and this reminded me the thread.
I hope you will find some time and understand we may not be the higher priority. Thanks!
